On the occasion of the 5th Africanity Summit, held in Rabat under the theme “Women’s Leadership in Africa,” His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall, former President of the Republic of Senegal and President of the Macky Sall Foundation, was awarded the prestigious Africanity Peace Trophy.
This distinguished honor was bestowed upon him by the Africanity Trophy Foundation in recognition of his unwavering commitment to peace, dialogue among peoples, political stability, and the sustainable development of the African continent.
Beyond his contribution to peace, this award also acknowledges the many policies and initiatives implemented under his leadership to promote women’s empowerment, their access to education, financing, entrepreneurship, and positions of responsibility. His efforts have helped strengthen the role of women in the economic, social, and political development of Senegal and Africa as a whole.
Unable to attend the ceremony in person, President Macky Sall was represented by Mr. Oumar Demba Ba, his Diplomatic Adviser and Administrator General of the Macky Sall Foundation, who received the trophy on his behalf during this important continental gathering that brought together prominent figures committed to advancing women’s leadership and enhancing Africa’s global standing.
Receiving this distinction at a summit dedicated to women’s leadership carries special significance. It reflects African-wide recognition of a remarkable journey marked by the promotion of inclusion, equal opportunities, peace, and the strategic role of women in the transformation of the continent.
Through this tribute paid in Rabat, the African community honors a statesman whose actions have consistently been guided by the pursuit of consensus, the strengthening of African cooperation, and the building of a future founded on peace, prosperity, and the dignity of peoples.

LE PRÉSIDENT MACKY SALL HONORÉ À RABAT : Un hommage à son engagement pour la PAIX et la promotion de la FEMME AFRICAINE
À l’occasion de la 5ᵉ édition du Sommet de l’Africanité, organisée à Rabat autour du thème « Leadership féminin en Afrique », Son Excellence Monsieur Macky Sall, ancien Président de la République du Sénégal et Président de la Fondation Macky Sall, a été distingué par le prestigieux Trophée de l’Africanité de la Paix.
Cette haute distinction lui a été décernée par la Fondation Trophée de l’Africanité en reconnaissance de son engagement constant en faveur de la paix, du dialogue entre les peuples, de la stabilité politique et du développement durable du continent africain.
Au-delà de son action pour la paix, cette récompense vient également saluer les nombreuses politiques et initiatives mises en œuvre sous son leadership en faveur de l’autonomisation des femmes, de leur accès à l’éducation, au financement, à l’entrepreneuriat et aux postes de responsabilité. Son action a contribué à renforcer la place des femmes dans les dynamiques économiques, sociales et politiques du Sénégal et de l’Afrique.
Ne pouvant être présent à cette cérémonie, le Président Macky Sall a été représenté par M. Oumar Demba, son Conseiller diplomatique et Administrateur de la Fondation Macky Sall, qui a reçu le trophée en son nom lors de cette importante rencontre continentale réunissant des personnalités engagées pour la promotion du leadership féminin et le rayonnement de l’Afrique.
Recevoir cette distinction dans le cadre d’un sommet consacré au leadership féminin revêt une signification particulière. Elle traduit la reconnaissance, à l’échelle africaine, d’un parcours marqué par la promotion de l’inclusion, de l’égalité des chances, de la paix et du rôle stratégique des femmes dans la transformation du continent.
